Painting a flag is something that not all of us can do, and if we want to adapt this flag to a irregular surface the thing gets worse. There are some firms that provides decal flags that are so thin that we must fix them to a piece of plastic, metal or paper, then we must adapt it, paint it with a primer, etc.
There is an easier way to adapt a flag to any surface without touching a brush or spending money in any special decal set. We will only need a sheet of printable decal paper ( Lazertran ) and a good decal softener, I recommend Vallejo´s "Decal Medium", nothing can resist to it.
First we print the flag we want and protect it with a couple of synthetic varnish layers. I recommend to print it with the maximum quality. 24 hours later you can put it in water to separate it from the paper.
Inmediately after we spread the Vallejo softener "Decal Medium" for 30 seconds.
We put it in place
And we press it gently with a sponge
And that´s all, just let it dry
