Impresión a escala / Scaled printing

Muchos amigos me han preguntado porqué cuando intentan imprimir las imágenes de imprimibles de este blog no se imprimen correctamente y cambian de tamaño. Eso es porque utilizan el visor de Windows para abrir estos archivos, el visor de Windows suele adaptar el tamaño del archivo al de un folio cambiando así el tamaño original.
Many friens have asked me why when they try to print the scaled images of this blog the printings change the size. this is because they open the file with the Windows viewer, this progrmam tends to adapt the size of the image to an A4 paper for the PC printer so the real size of the image is not respected.

En ligar del visor de Windows utilicemos otro programa que también viene con Windows, el "paint"  Para abrirlo id a Inicio, Todos los programas,Accesorios y, a continuación, Paint.
Instead of the Windows viewer we will use another Windows program called Paint. To open it go to Start, all programs,Accesories and then, Paint.

Una vez abierto el programa podéis abrir el archivo desde la pestaña Archivo, abrir o simplemete arrastrar el archivo al recuadro blanco del programa.
Once opened the program you can open the file using the File button and then Open or you can simply drag the image directly to the white space in the program.



Una vez que tengáis la imágen abierta solo tenéis que imprimirla en Archivo, imprimir. O utilizad las teclas Ctrl+p
Once you have opened the file you can print it from File, print or you can hit Ctrl+p



Cuando se abra el cuadro de dialogo de la impresora solo tenéis que seleccionar la vuestra e imprimirla, la imágen saldrá con el tamaño correcto.
When the printer window is opened you only have to select your printer and print, the image will be printed with the right size.

Agujeros de proyectiles de pequeño calibre / Small caliber ammunition holes

 
Por sujerencia de un amigo aquí vá un sencillo tutorial para hacer agujeros de proyectiles de pequeño calibre, muchos modelistas utilizan agujas calientes para perforar el plástico pero yo prefiero hacerlo de esta forma que no requiere calor y es más fácil de controlar.
By suggestion of a friend here is an easy tutorial for making holes produced by ammunition of small caliber. Many modellers use heated needles to perforate the plastic, I prefer this way that doesn´t require heat and is easier to control.

Lo único que necesitamos es algunas brocas del tamaño adecuado, una fresadora del minitaladro y un lápiz de grafito.
The only thing we need are some drills of the adequated size, a round engraving cutter for the power tool and a graphite pencil.

Primero hacemos unos pequeños agujeros del tamaño de los proyectiles con una broca, podemos utilizar el minitalador, un portabrocas o un destornillador pequeño.
First we make the holes using the right size drill, we can use the power tool, a hand drill, a small screwdriver.

Después hacemos las pequeñas abolladuras de impacto con la ayuda de la fresa, aquí sí que recomiendo hacerlo a mano.
Then we make the small dent of the bullet impact using the round engraving cutter, here I reccomend not to use the power tool but your hands.

 Y para darle el toque final, frotamos el agujero con el lápiz de grafito para imitar el metal expuesto, o si queremos que se vean oxidados podemos pintarlos.
 Then to give the last touch we can rub the hole with the graphite pencil to imitate the exposed metal, and if we want them to look rusted we only have to paint some stains at them.
